Childcare-Afterschool

The YMCA Child Development Center, a licensed facility for children aged six weeks through 5 years, is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for your child. Our center has a play-based philosophy, which fosters the individual child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Our professional staff creates an environment that promotes learning in art, science, math, and literacy. Preschool children participate in weekly special activities such as swimming lessons, library time, gymnastics, and music classes. Children also have daily opportunities to express themselves creatively through play in our “center-based” classrooms. Our early learning center uses Creative Curriculum.

At the YMCA Child Development Center, we understand the importance of a healthy diet in a child's development. That's why we provide each child with a hot, nutritious breakfast, lunch, and a healthy afternoon snack daily. Family involvement is crucial to each child’s success in our preschool, so we inform parents through monthly parent involvement activities, newsletters, and volunteer opportunities.

Group Exercise

The Y offers a large variety of group exercise classes each week! Find the one that works for you, keeps you motivated and makes exercise fun!

Aquatics

This program introduces children to an aquatic environment with the support of their parent.

Youth Sports

Our Youth Sports include Gymnastics, Karate, Flag Football, Basketball and Soccer.

Virtual Gym
