Fitness Class Descriptions

Strength & Cardio Classes

Bootcamp: Mid to high weight exercises combined with intervals, strength, & core training. It’s a high calorie burning class
and is designed to push you to the max.

Build & Burn: A full body work out that mixes, cardio & strength resistance, with different types of work outs. Experience Tabata, HIIT, reps and more.

Cardio Drumming: STICKS is an hour long heart pounding cardio drumming workout using stability balls and drums sticks that’ll make you feel like a total rockstar. 


Core, Glutes & More: This Abs and Glutes Class is sure to set you on fire! Incorporating weights and bands, with a variety of standing and laying down exercise counted out to your favorite songs to help motivate you. 

Fabdominals: Do five sets of five abdominal exercises using a variety of equipment in this thirty minute class designed to strengthen your core.

Flex & Stretch: Flex & Stretch is a great way to start your day! This class focuses on mobility and preparing your body for
the day with slow stretches and exercises to work your muscles.

Full Body Fitness: A complete body workout with a dance vibe. This class includes cardio exercise, body weight exercises, core and more.

Gloves: Participants will wrap hands, don gloves, and go 10 rounds in this hour long heavy boxing bag class. Bags are limited, reserve spot day of class. Equipment provided.

Jump Start: Skip your morning workout with a thirty minute jump rope class! Participants will jump rope in 20 second cardio bursts with ample time to rest between rounds. You’ll feel like a kid again as you Jumpstart your fitness routine!

Kettlebells: The kettlebell is a cast iron or cast steel ball with a handle attached to the top. Compound exercises work multiple muscle groups simultaneously, developing strength and muscular endurance.

Line Dancing: Perfect for all levels this class guarantees a fun workout while learning some classic line dances mixed in with some originals set to fun music. 

Pound: A 45 minute group fitness class that combines cardio, strength training and P ilates w ith drumming to achieve a full body workout.  

SilverSneakers: Increase endurance, strength, range of movement & balance to support daily living activities. Chair available for seated or standing support.

SilverSneakers Boom: Dance Inspired workout to challenge cardio fitness with easy to follow moves. 

Zumba: Shimmy and shake your booty to a Latin beat! Easy to follow, calorie burning dance moves.

Water Classes

Aqua Bootcamp: 30min class, participants will use water belts and dumbbells to preform a variety of motions including water walking and running, abdominal work and toning exercises.

Big Fish, Little Fish: A 30 to 40 minutes class designed to give Mom or Dad a full body workout while at the same time helping their little become more comfortable in the water.

Water Fitness: Low-intensity, no-impact class that is invigorating, energetic and FUN!
Water shoes recommended.

Splash Dance: High energy water cardio class that incorporates music and dancing to work out your full body. 

Group Cycling

Group Cycling: Ride on one of our state-of-the-art stationary bikes. This class will improve cardiovascular endurance, tone up the legs and bum, all while improving overall fitness. 

Yoga

Yoga: This class will incorporate all three aspects of physical fitness: cardio, strength and stretching into one invigorating session.

SilverSneakers Yoga: This class will move your whole body through a complete range of motion. Chair support is offered.

CHILD WATCH: We can provide care to children 6 weeks old to 12 years old while you focus on your workout. Please call the Y to make a reservation by 7:30 a.m. for mornings. Spots are limited. Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. ; Monday-Thursday 5:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m.
